Plans to expand Parks Subdivision: The new owners of the 155 yet-to-be-developed acres in the original Parks subdivision have presented their preliminary plans to McGregor’s Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council in the past two weeks. The mixed-use development will feature retail and professional office space (noted in pink) along Hwy 84 to serve as a buffer between homes and the roadway. The residential development will include single-family homes (yellow) and multi-family housing (orange). MISD Trustees Updated on the State of the District
Slow Down: The McGregor City Council has adopted an ordinance setting a 55 mph speed limit on the 2.3-mile stretch of State Highway 317 from Bluebonnet Parkway to Mother Neff Parkway. A temporary decrease in the speed limit was initiated to accommodate Industrial Park activity and the construction of the rail spur (represented by the blue dotted line) into the park.
