    Ready to Rebuild: Demolition work at the A-100 Building has been completed. The building is being repurposed as the heart of a new Junior High campus for McGregor ISD. Demo and prep work included building pad sites for new construction and parking lots, and the removal of all interior walls on the first and second floors.     Plans to expand Parks Subdivision: The new owners of the 155 yet-to-be-developed acres in the original Parks subdivision have presented their preliminary plans to McGregor’s Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council in the past two weeks. The mixed-use development will feature retail and professional office space (noted in pink) along Hwy 84 to serve as a buffer between homes and the roadway. The residential development will include single-family homes (yellow) and multi-family housing (orange). The McGregor Economic Development Corporation owns the remaining land (green) that could be developed to provide community amenities for residents of the new development.
