Slow Down: The McGregor City Council has adopted an ordinance setting a 55 mph speed limit on the 2.3-mile stretch of State Highway 317 from Bluebonnet Parkway to Mother Neff Parkway. A temporary decrease in the speed limit was initiated to accommodate Industrial Park activity and the construction of the rail spur (represented by the blue dotted line) into the park.
