McGregor Council receives “clean” audit report at monthly meeting: Plans for Hwy 84 development approved

Plans to expand Parks Subdivision: The new owners of the 155 yet-to-be-developed acres in the original Parks subdivision have presented their preliminary plans to McGregor’s Planning and Zoning Commission and City Council in the past two weeks. The mixed-use development will feature retail and professional office space (noted in pink) along Hwy 84 to serve as a buffer between homes and the roadway. The residential development will include single-family homes (yellow) and multi-family housing (orange). The McGregor Economic Development Corporation owns the remaining land (green) that could be developed to provide community amenities for residents of the new development.
