Rosa Elvia Perez Rodriguez

Rosa Elvia Perez Rodriguez, 71, of McGregor entered the gates of Heaven on Monday, September 5, 2022, with her daughters by her side. A Graveside service will be 10 a.m., Monday, September 12, 2022, at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco. Ms. Rodriguez will be available for viewing from Thursday to Saturday at Grace Gardens Funeral Home.

Rosa was born February 13, 1951, in Pharr, Texas, to Vidal and Dominga Perez, she was one of 13 children. She grew up in South Texas where she attended school. After the family relocated to Moody, in Central Texas, she met and married Johnny Rodriguez and the couple established their home in McGregor, having two daughters.
Rosa was a homemaker, where she had many talents. She enjoyed baking, sewing, knitting, and gardening. Rosa loved her family and was pleased to cater large groups in her home. She was a loving and kind woman, caring for all she knew. Her large heart lead her to take care of many family members and close friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 10 of her siblings.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving daughters, Rose Mary Rodriguez, Mary Jane Rodriguez; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
