EEC to hold ‘Vow’ special in McGregor

McGregor will definitely be the place to be for lovers in February, thanks to the hard work of The Exchange Event Center.

The Exchange, through a promotion billed as “The Vow,” will host six weddings on Feb, 22, 2022. To be sure, it will be a day full of love and laughter.

As part of a program to promote The Exchange Event Center as a bridal destination in Central Texas, the McGregor business will be offering prospective brides and grooms special deals.

For $1,000, the bride and groom will receive an all-inclusive elopement on Feb. 22. 2022, at the Exchange. The package includes the bride and groom, and up to 10 guests, an hour inside the Exchange, a ceremony decorating by Pendley Party Rentals, a bouquet and boutonniere by the McGregor ISD Floral Design program, a 6-inch cake from Cuppiecakes, as well as a DJ by BL Music and photography by Shelly Taylor Photography.

In addition, Knoxville Ranch will have its Rolls Royce parked outside and Bubbly Like Champagne will have a mobile bar inside the facility for photos. Champagne will be provided for a champagne toast and speeches, if the couple would like, courtesy of the Greater Hewitt Chamber of Commerce.

Each couple will receive a gift basket that includes cake cutting utensils engraved with their wedding date, Champaign flutes, a gift certificate to dinner and a one-night hotel stay courtesy of Staybridge Woodway for the night of their wedding. Couples who sign up prior to Feb. 1, 2022, will have the opportunity to have a free wedding. On Feb. 1, the Exchange will post a photo of each couple. Whichever photo receives the most “Likes, Comments and Shares” on Feb. 14, at 2:22 p.m. will win a free wedding. There must be six couples signed up for the free wedding promotion in order for the free wedding promotion to be offered.
