David Lofland

David James Lofland, aka Little David, of McGregor, Texas, was called home on April 24, 2025. A graveside memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, at the Lofland plot in the McGregor Cemetery.

David is survived by his wife, Mandy Dunlap Lofland, and his children, Cody Lofland, Jacob Lofland, Bradley Johnson, and Kaylee Vasa; his parents, Joan and David Lofland, and Treletta Dunlap; his brother, Michael Lofland; and many other close friends and family members. David was a hard-working country boy with a huge heart and impeccable morals! He worked as a carpenter, general contractor, and maintenance worker with the McGregor Housing Authority and Lofland Electric. David was an all-around Good Samaritan, and there was very seldom a problem he couldn’t find a solution to or a repair that he couldn’t fix! He was a true light in this world and will be missed by many! We will continue to celebrate his life and who he was for the remainder of ours!
