Bobbye Goff Bobbye Goff

Bobbye Lee Walters-Goff, a spirited soul whose laughter and warmth graced the lives of many, departed this world on February 13, 2025, in her beloved hometown of McGregor, Texas. Born on July 2, 1934, Bobbye’s journey began in the heart of McGregor, where her playful spirit shone brightly as she created cherished memories with her brother and sister behind the smokehouse. It was in the remnants of youthful play and family bonds that Bobbye first learned the meaning of devotion—a sentiment that would resonate deeply throughout her vibrant life.
Bobbye was a dedicated professional, serving as an Executive Secretary from 1952 until her well-deserved retirement in 1995. Her work ethic, meticulous attention to detail, and her unwavering commitment to excellence served her well while working at Phillips 66 (later Rocketdyne, then Hercules).
Beyond her professional achievements, Bobbye was a woman of many passions. She embraced life with a zest that endeared her to everyone she met. Her interests were as diverse as her talents—she reveled in dancing, exploring new horizons through travel, and nurturing the beauty of plants and flowers. An active member of her community, Bobbye contributed her time to the Red Hat Society and the local Garden Club, surrounded by friends drawn to her radiant spirit.
In 1952, Bobbye was fortunate to have found love three times, first with Joe Bob Walters, and together, they built a beautiful family in the backdrop of McGregor’s rich tapestry. Bobbye found companionship anew with a dear friend, Bill Anderson, whom she shared 20-plus years until his passing. Cupid struck again, and she married Ralph Goff in 1995. Though Ralph has since passed, the love they shared remains a testament to her enduring heart.
Bobbye’s legacy lives on through her cherished family. She is survived by her sister, Betty Terrell; her granddaughters, Michelle Jackson and husband Russell, Shannon Hall and Cedric Williams; and her great-grandchildren: Tristine Jackson, Skylar Moore and husband Connor, Colton Jackson, Colby Jackson and Kaity Huddock, Dakota Hall and Matt Maxwell, Isaiah Hall and Kyleigh Shaw, great-great-grandchildren, River Moore, Campbell Moore, and Oliver Jackson (on the way). She is also remembered by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, who carry her spirit within their hearts.
Bobbye is reunited in spirit with her beloved husband, Ralph Goff; her parents, Walter and Nona B Wehring; her brother, Tyrone Wehring; her daughter, Connie Jo Brumley; her son-in-law, Randy Jay Brumley; her brother-in-law, Jack Terrell; her great-great-granddaughter, Rose Hall; and numerous aunts and uncles.
Bobbye leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and light—a reflection of her caring personality that will eternally echo in the lives she touched. In her final days, she was surrounded with compassion, with special thanks to Dr. Keith Boles and Julie Roberts of Bluebonnet Hospice, who supported her as she made her final journey.
As we gather to celebrate her life, visitation will be held on February 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM until noon at the Grace Gardens Funeral Home & Crematorium, located at 8220 Woodway Drive, Woodway, Texas 76712. Bobbye Lee Walters-Goff will be missed profoundly, yet her essence will continue to inspire and fill hearts with love as she dances in the memories of those she left behind.
