Troy Spohn

Troy Lee Spohn passed away on February 5, 2025, at the age of 50. He was met in heaven by his father and surrendered into the arms of God. 

A visitation in his honor will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Zion Lutheran Church, with a funeral service following. 

Troy was born on July 12, 1974, in Waco to Dwayne and Sarah Spohn. He was raised and attended school in McGregor, where he was involved in football, 4-H, and Ag. After high school, he attended Tarleton State University, where he earned a master’s degree in economics and ag economics.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Dwayne; grandparents, William and Adella Spohn, and Norman and Jewell Raby; and niece, Kayla Campbell.

He is survived by his children, William Lee, Andrew Boyd, and Kennedy Faye; mother, Sarah Raby Spohn; brothers, Terry and wife, Denise, Mike and wife, Joanie, and Tracy Spohn; girlfriend, Jennifer Doyle, and her sons, Scott and Mark Doyle; two nephews, five nieces, and many friends.
