Oglesby Lions Club to Hold 55th Rattlesnake Roundup

Oglesby Lions: Members of the Oglesby Lions Club met on February 3 to make final plans for their 55th rattlesnake roundup slated for February 22-23. Club officers (seated in the second row) are (l to r) Eugene Shirley (Membership Chairperson), Nancy Keppel (Secretary), Ryan Basham (2nd Vice President), Charles Walter (1st Vice President), and Willie Smith (President). Treasurer Ted Tatum is not pictured. Members of the club are David Anderson, Shane Caraway, Liz Caraway, Doug Davidson, Michael Hale, Yvonne Hammar, Alan Hammar, Bill Haynes, Austin Haynes, Sara Johnson, Steve Keppel, Isai Licea, Kermit Lynch, Maurice Martin, John McClure, Cody Miller, David Mosley, Bruce Pomerenke, Sara Jo Poynter, James Seymour, Mike Walter, Shane Webb, and Eddie Younce. The club was chartered on November 10, 1949. They meet on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month at 6:30 pm at the Oglesby Community Center, 118 Main Street.
